I’ve always been searching for the perfect mode of creative expression. Poetry has been a part of my life since childhood, when, each year in Polish school, I had to memorize and recite parts of classic poems such as the epic Pan Tadeusz by Adam Mickiewicz. With the years I have found poetry to be a powerful outlet for observing the many facets of life. In my poetry you’ll find themes of urban alienation, mortality, love, motherhood, sensual eroticism, psychedelic journey & synaesthesia, music, and more. Welcome to my world, I hope you find some of your world in it.

Hello Agnes,
I enjoyed reading about your diverse background and thought you’d be the perfect audience for my debut album “Supercollider” by my band, Closer Ocean.
I am a composer and songwriter in Los Angeles, but also a bassoonist (I see you started off on the oboe!) This project “Supercollider” was a group of songs that I wrote based off the poetry of Nobel Laureate Wislawa Szymborska. You can check out the album on itunes or at our website: http://www.closerocean.com. I would LOVE to hear what you think about the album, since as I said I think this would be right up your alley.
Thanks for reading!
Kevin

I am so tickled that you found me, because I’ve definitely gone out into the www and made posts such as this to potentially interested parties. And it IS such a good match on so many levels. Congrats on seeing your project to fruition. I am checking out the tracks on CDbaby, thanks for recommending your music.
